Wacom Intuos4 - Grip pen tip atrocity problem
!±8± Wacom Intuos4 - Grip pen tip atrocity problem
*** NOTE: as of August 27 2009 I received a new Grip Pen from Wacom which almost completely solves this problem. Have a look at this video: www.youtube.com *** This is the dead tip travel (play) of the the Grip pen of my Wacom Intuos4 M pen tablet. I'm starting to wonder if it's an Intuos4 "feature". I've already sent the pen once to the Wacom service repair center to sort out this problem, but I've been sent back a pen with exactly the same defect (it is a defect in my opinion). So the tech support either sent me the same pen I sent them or they consider this issue as normal. I don't think it's normal at all. I wrote a thread about this issue in the european Wacom support forum (jump to the second page of the thread): forum.wacom.eu The tip of the pen of my other Bamboo Fun pen tablet doesn't move this much. Why should that of the more expensive, professional class Intuos4 be so less precise? What about your Intuos4 pen? Please leave a comment if you're an Intuos4 owner. EDIT: second link to another thread regarding this Intuos4 tip looseness in the Wacom support forum where it seems that this problem is finally officially acknowledged, at least from what Wacom user wrotes: forum.wacom.eu
